Healing starts here

Safe Births. Healthy Lives.

Did you know that every hour 5 women die in India during childbirth (as per WHO report)? The number of deaths in India during childbirth accounts for 17 per cent of such deaths globally.

Every day, thousands of women in India face the daunting reality of childbirth without adequate medical support. In rural and impoverished areas, the lack of access to quality maternity care leads to high rates of maternal and infant mortality.

These are not just statistics; these are lives—mothers who are the backbone of their families, and infants who represent the future of our society.

Our hospital

Imagine a place where every expectant mother receives the care and attention she deserves, regardless of her financial situation. Imagine a place where newborns come into the world in a safe, nurturing environment, where their mothers are not only cared for medically but also supported emotionally and socially.

Imagine not being able to afford essential care for your children, watching your children, die of curable diseases. This is the reality in rural India. Rural health care is one of biggest challenges India facing. With more than 70 percent of the population living in rural areas and poor health facilities, mortality rates are excessively high.

Another challenge is how to pay for the ever-increasing cost of medical care and medicine. Poor people don’t have money to pay for their medical care.

Poor people cannot afford the medical care. Poverty is a major cause for ill health and a barrier to accessing health care when needed.

Medical facilities (hospitals) are too far away for the rural village people to travel to. Not getting vehicles on time and traveling long distances are another reason for children and adults to lose their precious lives.

This trend can be reversed if there are medical facilities in the rural areas where most of the Indian population lives. This trend can be reversed if there are medical facilities in the rural areas where most of the Indian population lives.

Our Vision

At LIGHT Home Maternity Hospital, our dream is simple but powerful:

Today, that dream has begun. Our 8,000 sq. ft. 20 bed maternity hospital is now open and serving

patients through our Outpatient Department (OPD). Mothers from surrounding villages are already

receiving consultations and compassionate care.

But to offer full maternity and emergency care, several critical departments must still be completed.
